The intense G-forces affect blood flow,causing blood to flow from the brain to the lower body. If there is a lack of blood in the brain, your vision will go dark and you may eventually lose consciousness, known as "G-lock." A suit was developed that was tightly wrapped around the body with cords to prevent blood from flowing to the extremities. This bag was included to store the suit. The seams are piped with great care and time, and the zipper is a war-era TALON zipper. Although it is compact in size, the transferable Air Force mark and the numerous stencils placed throughout it represent the pride of the Army Air Corps.
