SUGAR CANE Jeans 1942 Model Non-Wash 14.25oz Super "Denim" Collectibles SC49005 420N Made in Japan This is a very rare early 1942 model with "Copyright1942" written at the bottom of the flasher. It was only produced for a short period from April to August 1942, and the back strap and crotch rivets were not yet omitted. This model uses special iron rivets, and the "CONCEALED COPPER RIVETS" on the flasher has been changed to "CONCEALED POCKET RIVETS". The denim fabric has a thickness and unevenness that is clearly different from the 1937 model, and a black-plated iron buckle that is only found on this model is specially made. The tack on the back of the button is copper-plated.
